'Invictus'

Long time no Blog!!
Health Education's test makes me nervous but I am looking forward a small vacation after that:)

I watched one great movie 'invictus' just now (sorry I'm not a good student:p). Have you ever seen it? If you not I really recommend you to see it because it must lead you think deeply about our topic race once again.

This movie taught me the followings:
・revenge can gave rise to nothing
・the past is past
・sport makes people excited and be the one

In this movie, the president Nelson Mandela did not try to pursue only political policy, but also he encouraged national rugby players to win the World Cup in South Africa even though he was on the mark of building the nation. He thought, I think, that it was natural to assume that political or economical policy developed the country and to care those who were discriminated because of apartheid would improve the society. It was, however, just a requirement but not sufficient. Also most people might think that because black people were treated badly, they should be cared and they should dominate the society from then. But He thought race should not exist in order to build their nation even though they had deep suffering. The past is just past, and they cannot change it. He wanted people to feel nationality as South African. Sport could give all people happiness and feeling of nationality, he thought. Therefore, he encouraged national rugby team to win the World Cup even though most members of it was white people.

I have to stop here....but at the end, I want to write a fer words by Nelson Mandela in this movie.

" I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of myself."

Please check these words in it.

TGIF!!
